Wow Chris, what an improvement. I like this much better. I don’t know about the curve at the top. I get that your going for the cross as the design, but you may want to try to extend it up instead of doing the curve. You had before a quote in the top, I liked that idea a lot. Look at your alignment on your logo and the right of your menu. Also, the background box for the FAQ is to dark, and hard to read. I would try just doing the red title, no box, and grey text. (like your other comps do).
I do like the way you are separating your search and your login. That looks much better.
Also, the light greenish/blueish color is not making me jump off my seats. I like the active state color of your links though. Have you tried just a slight gradient of blue to white as the background color? I don’t know, keep working at it. But it looks great though!
Chris, This blog stuff is kind of fun – even for an older person like me. Hey, I finaly figured out what you’re doing with the second logo – pages, right? Took me a while. I still like the first, more simple one, better. I am continually impressed with your creative abilities. Of course, I may be prejudice.
Has anyone under 30 ever had to diagram sentances or had to study grammar?
