Purpose Statement:

The purpose of my site is going to be a way to have many of the social networking tools all in one place, and view, and discuss about what they are, and how they can be used. They will be able to browse through different social networking/learning sites by goals. There will be links and samples of each site on the site so the user can get a quick glance at what to expect. This site is based on a learning environment to expand the users knowledge on different ways to branch out on their social networking and e-learning. They will be able to read about what each site is built for, see reviews and post comments about what sites are good and why.

Target Audience:

My target audience is anyone that wants to learn about how to adapt to this new generation of social learning. The age group will be anywhere from 14 and up. Since our new generation is being risen up from young students and adults, they will be my main target audience. The location of my target audience will be worldwide, since social networking is about gathering friends and creating relationships with people outside your normal boundaries. I am planning on making my design for the site somewhat neutral and let my social networking sites that I will be teaching about, let their designs be incorporated to speak for themselves. The customers that visit my site are those wanting to learn about what social networking is and where to start. The customers will also be able to posts and write comments about the sites. There will also be a contact page, for the customers to send any questions, comments, or concerns to the website.

Specific Problem: Educate users about the different sites available to social network. How they can implement into their daily life, how they can venture out and gather more users and friends. They will be able to learn from multiple sites and gather enough information to start their own account.
