WEEK 6
I have made some majoy progress on my e-Learning site. I have decided to make an individual page for each social networking site. I decided there was too much information and it would be overwhelming to the user if i splashed all of that information onto just a few pages. It also gives the oppurtunity to incoporate individual activities, articles, and videos for each social networking site. You can check out my progress so far:http://www.ckeedesign.com/class/eLearning/
I know that creating a social networking site is hard because there are so many elements to consider and you cant assume that the user knows anything about the terms used on my site. So you have to speak as plainly as possible, but create an atmospher that lets them know that these sites can be very useful for certain things that they are doing. I am trying to keep this in mind as I continue to create my site.

I agree. I think that even with a generation coming up of MySpace users, there are still a lot of people that don’t know much about it. The same goes for other social networking sites. Honestly, I’ve learned about many of them because of classes at our school.
I think it is a really good idea to break down the information so it doesn’t become overwhelming. (I’m have to do the same thing).
Nice work Chris! I like what you’ve done. The video on the home page was hilarious and informative.
